New England Conference Decides to Plant 100,000 Trees in Israel

A decision to plant 100,000 trees in the new forest in Israel to be known as “Yaar Hakodoshim,” commemorating the 6,000,000 Jews annihilated by the Nazis, was adopted here last night at the annual conference of the New England Jewish National Fund. The principal speakers at the conference were Mendal N. Fischer, J.N.F. executive director, and Fred Monosson, national treasurer of the Zionist Organization of America.
