The administrative committee of the New England Zionist Region last night named Dr. Dewey D. Stone, national Z.O.A. vice-president, as the region’s choice for president of the Zionist Organization of America.
At a meting at Zionist House here the leaders of the New England region voted to urge Dr. Stone to accept the presidential nomination, declaring that he is “most eminently qualified at the present time to lead the Z.O.A. as a unifying force to cement the various segments and points of view in Zionist life today.
