A new Jewish youth movement designed to promote Jewish education among youth in France and to forge a link between the youth of Israel and Jewish youth in France was established here today. The group is known as “The Friends of the Jewish Child in France.”
The organization, whose first aim will be to increase the number of Jewish boys and girls in the Paris area receiving a Jewish education, plans to send a group of children to Israel each year for their summer vacations. Such a group of 300 youths returned from Israel last week and were enthusiastic in their praise of the Jewish State.
