New Hungarian Party Demands Repeal of Anti-jewish Legislation in Hungary

An Allied victory is “indispensable” to the emancipation of Hungary, Tibor Eckhardt, leader of the newly formed “Independent Hungary” movement, said in an interview today. Describing the aims of his “Independent Hungary” organization as “progressive and liberal,” Mr. Eckhardt declared that he stood for “complete repeal of anti-Jewish legislation” in Hungary.
