A new teachers seminary in Jerusalem for the training of teachers to work with young immigrants brought into Israel by Hadassah, the women s Zionist Organization of America, through the Youth Aliyah movement, will be named in memory of Louis and Minna H Sobel of New York, who were drowned in the foundering of a schooner in Chesapeake Bay last month. The Louis and Minna H. Sobel Building will be formally dedicated next Spring with American and Israeli officials in attendance. Mr. Sobel was closely related for the last five years with Hadassahs youth rehabilitation programs in Israel, serving as chairman of the Hadassah Youth Reference Board The decision to name the recently-completed building in Jerusalem in honor of the Sobels was incorporated in a resolution adopted by the national board of Hadassah.
