Governor A. Harry Moore has written to President Roosevelt and Secretary of State Cordell Hull regarding the persecution of the Jews in Germany, he declared in a letter to Dr. H. I. Goldstein, B’nai B’rith leader, who had asked him to sign the petition being circulated by the order asking the President to use his offices with Germany to bring discrimination against the Jews to an end.

“Personally, I have addressed meetings and made my position clear in the matter,” Governor Moore wrote.
