The Talmudical High School of Central New Jersey, the first residence high school under Jewish auspices in New Jersey, will be opened by graduates of Beth Medrash Govoha on a six-acre estate in Howell Township near Route 33 this September. The existing structures have classrooms, dining hall and dormitory facilities for 70 boys, but the school will open with a student body of 50 and plans to increase in enrollment to 150 within the next four years. The school will accept students from throughout the state. Rabbi Yaakov Mueller, who has served as administration director of Both Medrash Govoha will serve as the administrative director of the new school. Rabbi Chaim Epstein will serve as dean and Rabbi Yeruchaim Shain, former principal of the Academy of New Rochelle (N.Y.) will be educational director.
