A new, farreaching labor law to protect needy laborers will be issued soon, Herr Kube, oberpresident of Brandenburg and Nazi leader in the Prusian Diet, promised a meeting of 60,000 members of the laboring class here.
Herr Kube caustically criticized the League of Nations which, he said, never bothered about the starving German workers but immediately intervened in behalf of the Jewish employee, Franz Bernheim.
(It was on the petition of Franz Bernheim that the League Council acted to restore the Jews of Upper Silesia to their rights.)
