Deputy Madam Prystor, author of the law restricting kosher slaughter, threatened in Parliament today to introduce a bill for complete prohibition of the ritual method of slaughtering animals if Jews continued what she called sabotage of the present legislation.
Madam Prystor, wife of the President of the Senate, admitted that the law had produced chaos in the livestock market. The act, which went into effect Jan. 1, provides for limiting kosher slaughter by apportioning slaughter quotas to Jewish butchers.
