A new Palestine bank, the Bank Yehudi, Limited will be opened in August. The bank will issue small mortgage loans to middle-class applicants. The bank will carry on its work in cooperation with the other middle-class banks in Palestine. It will be non-partisan in character.
Dr. Rosenbaum. Lithuanian Consul-General in Palestine and former Minister for Jewish Affairs in Lithuania, is president of the bank. The capital will be £E.100,000.
