A new synagogue was dedicated here this weekend in ceremonies attended by leaders of the Jewish community and representatives of the Munich municipality. The synagogue, which has facilities for 100 persons, also provides classroom space for religious instruction. The Munich Jewish community, which totals some 4,000 persons, is the second largest in Germany.
