The United States today delivered a note to the German Foreign Office demanding that American Jews be exempt from the provisions of the Reich decree of Dec. 14 banning all Jews from executive positions in German companies. The decree specified that foreign Jews were included in the measure as well as German Jews. The American note pointed out that foreign Jews had not been affected by other decrees of this kind and asked that a similar exception be made in this case.
