Eight new chapters were inducted into Masada at the annual metropolitan conference at which representatives of seventeen chapters met to discuss the future course of the Zionist youth organization in New York. Speakers included Maurice Samuel, Milton S. Taylor, acting president of the metropolitan region, and Isaac Imber, national president.
Paul Felix Warburg and Johannes Steele of the New York Post will be guest speakers Tuesday night at the annual meeting of the young men’s and young women’s division of the Federation for Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies. New officers will be installed at the meeting, which will be held at Temple Emanu-El, 1 East Sixty-fifth Street.

A new youth group named in honor of Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis has been formed in the Bronx under the auspices of the Order Sons of Zion.
The Avukah Society of Hunter College will aid in sponsoring a performance to raise money for the Avukah Scholarship Fund, to be held at City College on Sunday evening. The purpose of the fund is to enable two eligible students to go to Palestine and study conditions there. The performance will include “Waiting for Lefty”, to be presented by the Group Theatre. Ben-Ari, of the Moscow Habima, with his Dramatic Studio, is also scheduled to perform.
