New York City’s police commissioner will visit Israel soon in order to advise top police officials there on fighting crime, according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz. The planned visit by Howard Safir comes after he and Israel’s police chief, Yehuda Wilk, held talks in New York three months ago.
