Jewish children of New York, as a national group, show the highest intelligence, according to a survey conducted by New York educators, Dr. J. B. Maller of Columbia University, informed the convention of the American Association for the Advancement of Science yesterday.
The superiority of the Jewish group in New York was noted while the New York intelligence quotient group as a whole showed a drop, Dr. Maller reported. This was ascribed to the fact that the groups of lower inelligence have larger families than groups of higher intelligence.
