The Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York will seek to raise $5,500,000 more than it raised last year in its forthcoming campaign in support of 116 member hospitals and social service agencies, Milton Weill, president of the Federation, disclosed today. The goal of the 1951 campaign is $20,000,000, the largest fund ever sought for the maintenance of a local health and welfare network. Last year, Federation raised $14,500,000. The Campaign will officially open Wednesday, September 26.
