Mayor Robert F. Wagner today proclaimed this week as “Mizrachi Women’s Membership Mobilization Week” marking the organization’s nationwide membership campaign currently under way.
In his proclamation, Mayor Wagner called upon the citizens of New York to “join in those humanitarian efforts of Mizrachi Women which are bringing comfort, happiness and renewed faith to children and newcomers in the State of Israel.”
