Dr. Haim Yassky, director of the Hadassah Medical Organization in Palestine, largest medical agency in the country, cabled Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America here, that Hadassah dispensaries and infant welfare stations in Tiberias, where twenty lives were lost yesterday in a flood, have been turned into temporary hospitals to treat the sick and wounded. Dr. Yassky hurried from his Jerusalem headquarters to Tiberias to direct the medical relief work.
