Plans for launching the Ort tool and supply campaign in New York City on April 21 were adopted at a meeting held at the home of Felix Warburg under the chairmanship of Paul Felix Warburg, treasurer of the Ort National Committee. Present were a number of the Committee of 100 each of whom has pledged to raise $10,000 toward the fund to supply Russian Jews with tools and machines.
A second committee of twenty-five has been formed in New York, each member having pledged to raise $25,000. Speakers at the meeting included Howard S. Cullman, national chairman, Judge Grover Moscowitz, Dr. David Lvovitch, V. S. Korobkoff, Mark Eisner, New York chairman. The New York campaign will be inaugurated at a dinner April 21 at the Biltmore Hotel, it was announced.
