New York’s Governor Dewey Signs Law Barring Discrimination in State-aided Housing

The Wicks – Austin Bill, barring discrimination in all future publicly assisted housing projects because of race or religion, was signed into law this week-end by Governor Thomas E. Dewey. The new law will not apply to housing already in existence.
