The New Zionist Organization of America today announced a drive for a political fund of $1,000,000 to finance “a campaign of enlightenment aimed to place the Jewish question on the world political agenda.”

Simultaneously, it published an appeal “to all men of good will” to support the following demands: 1) All Jews who can be saved from extermination should be immediately admitted to Palestine – the future Jewish State; 2) A Jewish Army to fight under a Jewish banner must be created; 3) The admission of the Jewish people to the councils of the United Nations as an equal partner in war and peace. “The recognition of the Jewish people as an ally and their admission to the community of the United Nations is the prerequisite of a proper and realistic treatment of the Jewish question,” the appeal says. “It is the first step toward the establishment of normal relations between the Jewish people and the nations of the world. It must lead to the formation of the Jewish Government in Palestine to represent the Jewish people and its rightful aspirations.”
