According to reports from Cairo reaching here late this afternoon, President Anwar Sadat said that Egypt has broken off all talks with the United States on a diplomatic solution to the Middle East crisis and that talks with the Soviet Union are in progress. Sadat made this announcement at an emergency meeting called to answer students’ demands that Egypt launch a war against Israel.
