The Rev. Dr. Samuel Rosenblatt, rabbi of the Beth Tfiloh Congregation, will leave August 8 on the Majestic to attend the World Zionist Congress in Lucerene on August 20. Dr. Rosenblatt and Louis I. Katzner, also of this city, will represent the Mizrachi organization. Other Baltimoreans who will attend the Congress are the Rev. Dr. Edward L. Israel, rabbi of the Har Sinai Temple, who was elected by the General Zionists, and Dr. Herman Seidel, who ran on the Labor ticket.
Abram Joseph, Baltimore attorney, has been suggested for appointment to the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia to fill a vacancy caused by the recent death of Judge William Hitz.
