Nine Iranian Jews convicted of spying for Israel want to be temporarily freed from prison to commemorate Yom Kippur. The nine, who are serving sentences ranging from two to nine years, have been seeking a pardon from Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader. Israel has denied any involvement in the case.
