Nine Israelis were treated for shock after two car bombs blew up in the Israeli town of Yehud, which is located near Ben-Gurion Airport. Israeli police said each of the cars had been rigged with nail bombs. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine claimed responsibility for the bombings, saying it was retaliating for an Israeli helicopter attack in which three members of Islamic Jihad were killed.
