Nine Jews are among the 172 candidates who were elected to provincial councils in last week’s elections throughout South Africa, it was established here today. They are: D. Epstein, M. Nestadt, A. Widman, H. Schartz, A, B, Agranat, in the Transvaal; F. Sonnenberg, D. Lazarus, T. Aranson, in the Cape Province; and J. Jacobs in Natal. All are members of the United Party.
