Ninety-five percent of Holocaust artifacts sold on Internet auction sites are fake, according to the author of a recent book titled “Counterfeiting the Holocaust.” The majority of such counterfeit items are produced in Europe, and most are distributed in the U.S. Midwest, says Alec Tulkoff, whose Web site is www.holocaustartifacts.com.
