Albert E. Arent of Washington, D.C., chairman of the National Jewish Community Relations Advisory Council, welcomed the admission to membership of the Public Affairs Committee of the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago which took place at the NJCRAC’s plenary session of June 28-July 2 in Los Angeles. Philip M. Klutznick, former Ambassador to the United Nations and past president of B’nai B’rith, is chairman of the Public Affairs Committee and Maurice Klinger is executive secretary. James P. Rice is executive vice-president of the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago. “The affiliation of Chicago as the 93rd community member agency will be of great benefit to the entire Jewish community,” Mr. Arent said.
