Officials of the Yeshivah Torah Vodaath, 206 Wilson street, Brooklyn, were without clews yesterday to the robbery at the yeshiva early Tuesday in which merchandise and ornaments amounting to $1,000 were stolen.
Although there was little cash in the yeshiva safe at the time, many sterling silver ornaments, used to decorate the Torahs, were taken.
In addition to the ornaments, several cases of merchandise which had been stored in the yeshivah for the regular Chanukah bazaar were looted. The Torahs were not touched. The merchandise was not insured. Daniel Reisman is president of the yeshiva.
