The question of regulated German Jewish refugee settlement in Canada, has not been considered as yet and no representation as to their admission has been made, the department of immigration stated officially.
Owing to agitation by various organizations, the department is being flooded with resolutions against the admission of German Jewish refugees. The opposition to their admission has been strengthened by the attitude taken by Dr. Riddel, permanent Canadian delegate to the League of Nations, who at the recent session of the League, declined to accept any responsibility on the admission of German refugees.
