The current negotiations here between West German and Austrian officials on a West German contribution to an Austrian fund to compensate Austrian victims of the Nazi period will not result in a final solution of the issues involved, informed sources predicted today.
Two issues are expected to be reserved for decision at a projected conference between Austrian Foreign Minister Bruno Kreisky and West German Foreign Minister Heinrich von Brentano. One is the total amount of the restitution sum and the other is a West German demand that Austria sign a clause in the agreement renouncing all further restitution claims against West Germany. The meeting of the two Foreign Ministers will not be held before April.
