Jewish leaders here today termed “greatly exaggerated” the reports published in New York about an alleged stepped-up anti-Jewish campaign in Mexico, Exception to these reports is also being taken by the Jewish press here.
In objecting to these reports, Mexican Jewish leaders point out that their alarming tone can only harm the position of the Jews in Mexico. They emphasize that the attacks against Jews in anti-Semitic publications are not a new development and that these attacks are not being taken seriously.
