There is no need now for anxiety concerning the political situation; the Hitlerist danger is over, Herr Severing, the Prussian Minister of the Interior, known as the man whom Hitler fears most, and who was recalled to his old post to take charge of the Republican campaign against the Hitlerists, declared at the annual meeting to-day of the chiefs of the various provincial districts of Prussia. The Hitlerist front has now been driven to take the defensive, Herr Severing declared.
