Noah Isaac Gotlib, one of Canada’s foremost Jewish poets and journalists died here at the age of 64. A native of Kovno, Lithuania, he arrived in Canada in 1930 and joined the staff of the Montreal Daily Eagle. He is the author of works on Soviet literature, on chalutzim in Lithuania, and of ten volumes of lyric poetry. He was secretary of the Jewish Authors Association.
