Nobel Peace laureate Elie Wiesel joined other prominent Jews in condemning a recent editorial in an official Syrian newspaper that accused Israel of magnifying the scope of the Holocaust for its own benefit. The condemnation is slated to appear as a full-page ad in newspapers across the United States, according to the ad’s organizer, the Zionist Organization of America.
