Northwestern University has been made the recipient of an annual $300 Sigmund Livingston Inter-Faith Fellowship from the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundations, Dr. Abram L. Sachar, national director of the Foundations, announced today.
The National B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundations has stipulated that the award shall go to a student of any faith who, at the and of his or her junior year, is judged to have done the most for promotion of inter-faith and inter-group relations on the campus. The student is to receive the fellowship for the senior year. The Northwestern fellowship is the twelfth of similar inter-faith fellowships granted by the National B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundations to American universities.
