A warning to Norwegians not to help Jews in Norway circumvent the law providing for the confiscation of all Jewish-owned property, which was promulgated this week, was issued in Oslo today by Premier Vidkun Quisling’s pro-Nazi government.
The order states that non-Jews found guilty of helping Jews save their property from confiscation will be punished by prison terms ranging up to six years. It emphasizes that the confiscation law entered into effect immediately after it was proclaimed and will also be applied to non-Jews married to Jews as well as to persons with one Jewish parent.
