With the Reichstag elections only two weeks off, it is apparent today that not a single Jewish candidate is listed by any of the parties with the exception of that of the extreme Left.
In the Reichstag elections of 1930, all the parties not anti-Semitic in their program, had Jewish candidates on their lists.
The “Israelitisches Familienblatt,” commenting on this fact, explains that the lack of Jewish candidates is due to the strength of the anti-Semitic issue and no party is willing to risk being accused by the Nazis of being pro-Jewish.
The Nazis have spread throughout the city thousands of reprints of their bill and the measure as passed by the Prussian Diet regarding the confiscation of the property of East European Jews.
The reprints are part of the election propaganda of the Nazis.
The Nazi press carries daily attacks upon the Jews which are reiterated in special pamphlets.
