There is no unemployment in Palestine, declared Dr. Markus Reimer, noted rheologist, who is on leave of absence from the Public Works Department in Palestine, to round out his research in rheology with Dr. Eugene Bingham, head of the Chemistry Department at Lafayette.

Dr. Reimer, who came from Austria to Palestine after the war, is regarded as one of the foremost rheologists in the world and is one of the original founders of the American Society of Rheology. He has been invited by Princeton University to deliver a series of eight lectures on Mathematical Rheology.

The Jewish Community Center of Harrisburg, Pa., recently concluded a successful membership enrollment campaign, during which 675 members were enrolled for membership payments totalling $6,000.
