The Nazi Minister of Agriculture, in an article in the Deutsche Zeitung, Berlin, declared that all political parties before the rise of the Nazis to power had been founded by Jews who made “their political marionettes dance for selfish Jewish ends.” He explained that Conservatism, Marxism and Liberalism had all been established by Jews, and that Liberalism is nothing else than “the Jewish enthronement of egoism.”

“The antithesis of all this egoism based only on Jewish conceptions is Nazism,” he declared. “And Nazism is proclaiming the principle of blood and soil in the agrarian sphere, where the Jew profits from every crisis.”

General Goering, in his new book, “Germany Reborn,” explains how the Nazi government treated the “fourteen million supporters of Communism and Marxism,” most of whom “were good Germans led astray by insane theories,” and have now been “rescued from error and brought back once more into the community of the German people.”

GENERAL GOERING WRITES:

“It was just as necessary to take strong action against the deceivers, agitators and chiefs themselves. And so the concentration camps were set up, to which we had sent first of all thousands of officials of the Communist and Socialist Democratic Parties. It was only natural that in the beginning excesses were committed. It was natural that here and there beatings took place there were some cases of brutality. But if we consider the greatness of the occasion and all that had preceded it, we must admit that this German revolution for freedom was one of the most bloodless and most disciplined of all revolutions in history.”

This is how the Nazi officials define the causes of the “revolution for freedom” and justify the excess, the beatings, and the brutality resorted to in bringing about “one of the most bloodless and most disciplined of all revolutions in history.”

The Jews of Germany, numbering less than one per cent of the German population are credited by the Nazis with having establisher, the Conservative, the Marxist and the Liberal parties of Germany. The Jews of Germany are also blamed by the Nazis for having controlled the culture, the press and the commerce of Germany. If all that be tried, what have the ninety-nine per cent of the German people don’t for Germany?

The German “revolution for freedom” is indeed unique. It has suppressed the Conservatives, the Marxists, the Liberals. It has suppressed freedom of the press, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience. It has resorted to force and violence, and is particularly persecuting the Jewish element of the German population with ruthless cruelty. The only freedom that the German “revolution for freedom” is defending is that of rearmament for a new war.

A remarkable book, “Hitler Over Eurcpe,” contains startling revelations of how Hitler, Goering and Goebbels had been financed by Thyssen, coal magnate of the Ruhr, and of what preparations are now being made by General Goering for an overwhelming assault on Germany’s neighbors by every new device of aviation, chemistry and mechanics. The author of “Hitler Over Europe,” Ernst Henri, writes:

“If Goering has 10,000 aeroplanes–as many as the whole of Europe has today, and half as many again as the entire French group (including the Little Entente, Poland and Belgium)–then he can go into the fight with a good chance. If Goering has twice as many as the whole of Europe, and three times as many as France and her Allies–20,000 aeroplanes–then only a miracle can prevent Germany’s victory in the war.”

“Already in the autumn of 1933 the new German artillery park, limited by the Treaty of Versailles to only 292 light guns, numbered 2,400 heavy and 4,800 light guns, Hitler’s new secret artillery, being added to from day to day, is after fifteen years of new experiments in an entirely different category from the artillery of the last war. The monstrous organization of German post-war industry, the best equipped industry in the world, stands behind this new war-mechanics of the Nazis.”

And the author sounds this warning:

“Before Hitler can be stopped, he may shatter half the world… It is a question of the present, not of the distant future; the decision can come at any moment.”

Commenting on this warning, Wickham Steed, the eminent publicist, says that he wished he could dismiss it as the raving of an anti-Nazi fanatic, but he cannot do it, “nor, for that matter, can any man who knows what is really going on in Germany today.”

The policy of vengeance and extermination against the Jews, bolstered up with the aid of the mythical “Protocols of the Wise Men of Zion,” is but a prelude to the new war of revenge which Hitlerism is feverishly preparing.
