Military police raided the headquarters of the emigration office of the Zionist Organization in Rome as well as the office of Chief Rabbi David Prato.
Although no explanation was given for the raids, the police took specimens of letters typed on the typewriters in both offices and it is assumed that the searches were connected with the continuing investigation of the bombing of the British embassy here last week.
