Brooks Hays, brotherhood chairman of the National Conference of Christians and Jews, was received by Pope Paul VI yesterday in a private audience.
Mr.Hays, who is also special assistant to President Johnson on racial problems and a former U.S. Representative from Little Rock Arkansas refused to reveal the subject of his talk with Pope Paul.
