Means for improving, expanding and “generally enriching” congregational life in the United States will be devised by a Commission on Synagogue Activities, if a resolution adopted by a meeting of the Department of Synagogue and School Extension of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations held here yesterday, is passed. The executive board will receive the resolution for action.
The Department, which operates on an approximate annual budget of $98,086, sponsored as one of its projects a seminar for Jewish Religious School Teachers at Syracuse.
