Governor Trapp announced that he would recommend to the Legistlature today the passage of a law definitely regulating secret organizations in Oklahoma and providing for the making public of membership rolls, says an Associated Press despatch.
“I do not propose to go to the Legislature and force an anti-Klan law,” said Governor Trapp. “I do not want a Klan or anti-Klan statute. I advocate a measure that will apply to all secret organizations. The people have a right to this protection.”
