A gift of $36,000 from Mr. and Mrs. Herman P. Taubman of Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the Hebrew Theological College here, was announced today by Dr. Oscar Z. Fasman, president of the college, which is now building a $5,000,000 campus in Skokie, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.
Max Bressler, national chairman of the development program of the university, said “This contribution is further testimony to Mr. Taubman’s national leadership and constant dedication to the cause of Jewish education.” Mr. Taubman is a leader in philanthropic and civic activities throughout the country.
