A reunion after thirteen years was enacted backstage at a local theater when Milton Pickman, twenty-seven-year old manager of Ted Lewis, band leader, renewed old acquaintance with Samuel Goldfarb, Halevy Singers director.
Pickman, who a few years ago worked in the law office of Robert. Szolld, former Zionist head, met Goldfarb when he mentioned in backstage conversation that he was a former pupil of Rabbi Israel Goldfarb, brother of Samuel, and co-author with him on the standard musical text, “The Jewish Songster.”
