Zeta Beta Tau, oldest national Jewish college fraternity in the country and the largest of its kind, went on record at a meeting of the Supreme Council here, as condemning the “cruel bigotry and inhumanity” of the Hitler regime in Germany.
The organization, which has a membership of about 5,000, 34 campus and 35 alumni chapters throughout the United States and Canada, has initiated a drive for funds. Money realized will be turned over to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee for relief of the German Jewish refugees.
