Olmert to visit White House on Monday
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will meet with President Bush at the White House on Monday.
According to a White House statement, Olmert and Bush will discuss “the strong bilateral relationship between the United States and Israel,” as well as “continuing, mutual efforts to bring peace to the Middle East and a wide range of regional and international issues.”
The visit is likely to be the Olmert’s last as Israeli prime minister. He announced his resignation in September, and elections are scheduled for February.
