One Arab infiltrator into Israel was killed yesterday, and two others were captured after a clash with an Israeli border patrol north of the Gaza Strip, a military spokesman announced here today. The three had been ordered to halt and, when they attempted to escape, the patrol opened fire.
It was learned today that another Arab who tried to cross the border into Israel several days ago, and was killed, had been a former resident of Jaffa. He had previously crossed into the Gaza Strip, where he was impressed into the United Republic intelligence service and sent back into Israel. He was also shot when he refused to halt an the orders of an Israeli border patrol.
