One person was injured when an improvised bomb exploded and set fire to the public lavatories in the Natanya central bus terminal at noon today. The victim, not identified, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The damage was reported to be slight. Police detained several suspects at the scene of the bombing.
Syrian gunners shelled Israeli positions in the southern Golan Heights last night. A military spokesman reported that a number of mortar shells were fired from the region where the Israeli, Syrian and Jordanian borders converge. The fire was returned. No Israeli casualties were reported.
